1970’s Penco E-20NT Lawsuit
A prime example of just why Gibson started a lawsuit against Japanese builders and makers in the 1970s! Body Details: Maple Ply top back and sides, the body shows some light play wear on the front with a few small dents near where the right arm comes across the guitar as well as some light finish swirling near the pickup controls, two screw holes for a pick guard that was removed before we acquired the guitar; the back has some buckle rash and light finish dents around the center of the body as well as a few small chips in the binding around the body (on both front and back body binding), the gorgeous original natural finish shows off the flame figure of the maple top!

Neck Details: Maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and block inlays; the finish is in overall clean shape with some wear behind the 10th fret by the B and e strings as well as a small blemish behind the G string by the 6th fret; the headstock has a blemish on the bottom left (think where a guitar would hang from) as well as some finish knicks on the top right corner of the headstock. The binding and rosewood fretboard are in great shape; the inlays have shrunk some due to age, but they are stable and wont cause any playability issues!
Fret wear: Some denting and polishing is apparent on the first 5 frets, specifically under the G, B, and e strings
High E string gauge: 10
Electronics: The electronics appear to be period accurate/original
